When you register with SOS, your email address is stored in our secure database. This email is used only for:
- Generating and delivering your Private ID
- Communication about your account and assessment status
- Optional coaching follow-up through the SOS portal
Your email is never shared with, linked to, or accessible by the assessment system. It exists in a completely separate system with no connection to your assessment responses. No personal identifiers are attached to assessment data.
Anonymous Private ID
Your Private ID is a randomly generated, anonymous identifier (e.g., SOS-XXXX-XXXX). This ID:
- Is the only identifier linked to your assessment responses
- Cannot be traced back to your email or personal information
- Is used to access the self-sabotage assessment anonymously
- Enables coaches to review your results without knowing your identity
The assessment system receives only this Private ID. It has no way to connect your responses to your email address, name, or any other personal information. The system itself never links data to an individual.
Coach Review Privacy
Certified coaches review your assessment results through the SOS portal. These coaches:
- See only your Private ID—never your name, email, or personal information
- Review responses anonymously, ensuring unbiased analysis
- Provide insights and guidance without access to your identity
- Communicate through the SOS portal using only your Private ID
This ensures you can engage honestly with sensitive topics, knowing your identity remains completely protected.
Third-Party Platform Protection
When you complete your self-sabotage assessment:
- The assessment system receives only your Private ID
- No email addresses, names, or personal identifiers are transmitted
- Your responses are stored linked only to your Private ID
- SOS maintains the mapping between your email and Private ID in a separate, secure system
